We are also the sole financier of the Children’s Apparel Program, which provides funding to every school in Harrison County to be used for the purchase of clothing. The funds are utilized to purchase weather-appropriate clothing for underprivileged students and are often used to buy a young student their first pair of new shoes. The stores we hear about a child receiving their first pair of new shoes and how it changes that child’s life are heartwarming and reenergize us to continue this amazing program.
